Cleaning Profit Margin Calculator
Check whether a cleaning job is producing the margin you expected. Everything runs in your browser and no email is required.
Enter one cleaning job
Formula: profit = revenue − cost. Margin = profit ÷ revenue. Markup = profit ÷ cost. Target price = cost ÷ (1 − target margin).
Use the result as a decision aid, not a promise
The calculator uses arithmetic on the numbers you enter. It does not know the condition of a home, local wages, competitor pricing, taxes, insurance requirements or the exact scope of a cleaning job. Use your own business records whenever possible.
Margin and markup are not the same
Profit margin measures profit as a percentage of revenue. Markup measures profit as a percentage of cost. Mixing them up can produce a selling price below the margin you intended.
